✔️ We spent over a month on category research and site navigation. Initially, we planned for 20-25 categories, but as they say, appetite comes with eating: after the research, we found more than 100 category page ideas, and most of them were approved. So, we started to double-check the keyword intent, conduct SERP analysis for each collection page, and write copy for each page (including FAQs).
Within three months, we were able to prepare everything necessary before the WordPress website went live.
✔️ Next, our team utilized a pre-launch SEO checklist for WordPress websites to ensure that the website’s technical elements, such as canonical tags, XML sitemap, robots.txt, and some WooCommerce-specific elements, were properly set up. We knew that in this industry, there aren’t many blogging opportunities, and it wouldn’t be wise to expect sales or conversions directly from blog content.
✔️ After 4-5 months, we slowly started building links. Since the website was new, it wasn’t advisable to build too many links per month, and we understood this. We secured 5-7 links in the first month, then gradually increased the numbers month by month.
