Earlier this year, we partnered with a dental clinic based in Dubai for a short-term engagement. What stood out about this project was how quickly the results came, even with a limited scope.

Our work focused on SEO fundamentals, including an in-depth SEO audit, technical setup adjustments, and implementing a few on-page improvements.

Despite not applying the full range of dental SEO strategies we normally roll out for long-term clients, the clinic’s site jumped to 2–3K monthly organic visitors and began ranking in top positions for its main keywords.

The clinic’s website was built on WordPress. Personally, I usually prefer Yoast, but in this case, the client wanted RankMath, and honestly, the difference is negligible as long as everything is set up correctly. We integrated the necessary plugins, connected Google Search Console, and set up proper tracking through Google Analytics.

From there, we carried out targeted keyword research to identify the clinic’s top services with actual search volume in Dubai. We then optimized the homepage and service pages with proper metadata, H1s, and other on-page SEO best practices.

The technical foundation was cleaned up to align with best practices, and we also created and optimized the clinic’s Google Business Profile to strengthen local visibility.

Because the client was extremely busy, we stepped in to help with the copywriting as well, making sure the content was SEO-friendly and patient-focused.

 

The Results

Yet within a few months of indexing, we saw strong results: several important keywords appeared in the top 10, and the site began generating 2–3K organic visits per month.

This is a New York–based dental clinic that first connected with us through LinkedIn when they hit a sudden traffic drop. We began our partnership in 2023, and this quickly turned into one of the strongest SEO case studies in the healthcare industry. Crafting the Solution

We began with a deep dive into Google Search Console to find the top pages that were the source of the traffic drop. The data quickly made it clear: more than 95% of the decline came from the blog.

Our first step was to address structural issues. We identified cases of keyword cannibalization, merged overlapping posts to build stronger content depth, and crafted new outlines that gave writers a clear framework to follow.

We also updated existing articles to improve clarity, formatting, and UX, making them not only more search-friendly but also easier to read.

During the audit, we also uncovered a backlink issue. The site had accumulated dozens of dofollow links from low-authority websites, which may have been diluting its trust signals.

We worked with the client to clean this up, ensuring poor-quality links were removed or switched to nofollow, while maintaining contextual references to higher-quality sources like statistics and research.
At the same time, we expanded the site’s topical depth with over 50 new articles, strategically written to strengthen clusters and fill gaps in their content library.

We began by carrying out deep keyword research around emergency intent. Our focus was on urgent search phrases: “walk-in emergency dentist,” “same-day dentist,” symptom-based queries, and dozens of location-specific modifiers across the UK.

Our team revealed more than 20 priority areas where patients were actively searching for care. Alongside the location rollout, we laid the foundation for long-term growth by strengthening the homepage SEO, tightening metadata, refining H1s, and building strong internal links to the most important service and location pages.

Once the basics were covered, we shifted to building topical authority. Through competitor analysis, we identified content gaps and designed a hub-and-spoke strategy around critical but underserved queries; terms like “emergency dentist cost” and other long-tail, low-competition keywords.

We produced in-depth content that connected seamlessly with the service pages, supported by strong internal linking and a more user-friendly blog design.

 

The Results

Although the client chose not to invest in healthcare link-building services due to budget limits, the on-page and content improvements alone were enough to deliver powerful growth.

Within six months, rankings surged, and by the twelve-month mark, traffic had grown from roughly 5,000 visits to over 25,000 per month, a jump of more than 400% (closer to 500% when measured accurately).
